In light of AB 109’s second birthday, CSAC is continuing with its series on how counties across California have implemented the hallmark legislation. Some have done so in entirely unique and innovative ways.

For example, in San Bernardino County – a region covering more than 20,000 square miles of inland Southern California – county officials set up a day reporting center, a one-stop shop where offenders can check in with the probation officer, and access a wide variety of individualized services that help them stay out of trouble.
