San Diego Council Committee To Hear From Housing Commission On Voucher Program

Last week, we brought you a story about a recent change in housing vouchers for low-income residents. The program, which is run by the San Diego Housing Commission, has been accused of not doing enough to desegregate cities. Now—a city council committee is asking the Housing Commission to explain its reasoning for the way it hands out vouchers… and it could ask the commission to change its policies. KPBS reporter Claire Trageser has more.
