San Diego County Sues Trump Admin Over Its Handling of Asylum-Seekers

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors filed suit Wednesday over the Department of Homeland Security’s decision to end its so-called “safe-release” program in late October. In the meantime, the county, city and nonprofits are struggling to accommodate the influx of asylum-seekers being released into San Diego with few resources.
