Developed in conjunction with CSAC Corporate Associate member Vanir Construction Management, Inc., this course is designed to help county officials understand how a capital improvement project is developed, managed and financed.
The class is an-depth examination of the processes, policies and procedures needed for the implementation and annual review of a capital improvement project.

Faculty: Dr. Laree Kiely Dr. Laree Kiely has more than 25 years experience consulting, facilitating and teaching strategy, planning and organizational behavior in the United States, Canada, Australia, the Czech Republic, and the People’s Republic of China. She is president of the Kiely Group, comprised of organizational effectiveness consultants.
Dr. Kiely served as professor on the faculty of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, where she taught in the graduate and executive MBA programs. Dr. Kiely also regularly hosts an award-winning program, Management Communication: Tools for Leadership, on PBS.
