Matthew Bass of Lincoln County Mo. was busted for purchasing the highly addictive painkillers morphine and fentanyl outside of his restaurant “Krumbly Burger.”
Although Bass was suspected of being involved in illegal activity for some time, the city of Troy’s long time Mayor Charles Kemper said he respected Bass as a public servant.
Bass faces two felony charges and remains in prison. His cash bond has been set for $20,000.
