Somewhere in Anaheim, Mickey Mouse isn’t happy about being snubbed.

The 14th Congressional District (Anna Eshoo – city of Sunnyvale) earned the accolade as the “Happiest Place in America,” according to the results of a Gallup Poll conducted with the American Insurance Plans and Healthways.

The survey was completed over a 350-day period beginning in Jan. 2008 and polled 1,000 Americans per day to determine an index that measured well being in America’s rural and urban communities.

Factored in were a state of physical, mental and social well being, as well as the absence of infirmity and disease.

Hazard, Ky. Ranked as the “Least Happy Place in America.”
