The city of La Habra Heights is looking to fill a vital position, either in the role as an Assistant to the City Manager (see full job description) or as a Deputy City Manager (see full job description).

The city is looking to hire at one of two levels: Assistant to the City Manager and Deputy City Manager, depending upon experience and qualifications. Duties are similar; however, the Assistant is not expected to perform with the same independence and judgment as that of the Deputy.

Both of these positions require the equivalent of graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in public administration, business administration or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is highly desirable and may be substituted for one year of experience.
