This week is the deadline for any bills introduced in 2009 to be passed out of the house of origin. After today’s deadline, legislators will concentrate on introducing new bills before the Feb. 19 introduction deadline.
Last week, the Assembly welcomed Chris Norby as the newest Republican representing the 72nd Assembly District. Assembly Member Norby replaces Mike Duvall (R-Brea) who resigned last year.
