A warrant for the arrest of Mayor Rocky Heath was issued after county investigators found that the Bonanza mayor withheld public information from a resident of his city.

Bonanza resident Jackie Garrett sent a letter to the mayor in January under the Freedom of Information Act, asking for the city’s bank records, according to 4029tv.com.

Bonanza is located in Sebastian County in Arkansas.

“I think I waited two weeks and checked again. Still no information,” Garrett told the television news station.

Heath has not showed up to perform his duties as mayor since he picked up his last check on March 13, according to the report.
