The following is video of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who took a tour of Calexico following damage done from a 7.2 earthquake.

The Governor speaks about businesses closing and the importance of work that needs to be done with the Business Improvement District to get the city back on track.

Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency in Imperial County for help in recovery efforts.

On Thursday, downtown stores began to reopen in the town along the California-Mexico border, proving things could return to life 11 days after the earthquake. Damages have been estimated close to $100 million in Imperial County and unemployment nears 30 percent.
