The Davis Enterprise reported on Sunday that “some of those funds went to the Yolo County Historical Museum, Food Bank of Yolo County, American Red Cross – Yolo County Chapter, Mexican American Concilio of Yolo County, Woodland Volunteer Bureau Food Closet and West Sacramento Rotary Foundation, according to a company spokeswoman.“
Wal-Mart delivered in more than $467 million in cash and gifts this past fiscal year to charitable organizations, including $41,500 in Yolo County.
