Most of the 60 local tax and bond measures on the ballot were approved on Tuesday. 
The residents of Eastvale in Riverside County voted to become California’s 481st incorporated city. Residents in Vallejo repealed that city’s charter requirement for binding arbitration and Oceanside became a charter city.
Eleven of 13 majority vote taxes passed as did 21 of 27 special taxes & 2/3 vote bonds. Fifteen of the 20 55%-vote school bonds passed.
