Inspired by the story-behind-the-story reported here on PublicCEO, the Los Angeles Press Club is hosting the Jeff Gottlieb and Ruben Vines, the two reporters who broke the Bell scandal, on Thursday night.

The two Los Angeles Times reporters will discuss how they broke the news on stage at the Press Club in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles. Everyone – including public administrators – is welcome to attend, meet Gottlieb and Vines and learn more about the story.


The evening starts with refreshments at 7 p.m. and the speakers will go on about 7:20 p.m. The event is at the Los Angeles Press Club in the Steve Allen Theater, 4773 Hollywood Blvd. (two blocks west of Vermont), Metro: Red Line, Sunset/Vermont. Cost is $15 for nonmembers.
