For fifteen years, Riverside County has hosted a job expo to try to bring together employers and would-be employees. This year, with the unemployment rate remaining well into double digits, the stakes are even higher.
Although the situation seems critical there is still time to hope. For the past 15 years the County of Riverside sponsors a Job Expo bringing hundreds of employers to one place. This year is no different.

According to the Labor Department the unemployment rate is 14% in Inland Empire for the month of August 2010. This percentage may not be accurate if you consider the hundreds of others who stopped looking for work and are not counted on these statatistics. The basis for these analysis is by counting the number of people who apply for unemployment benefits.
