Palo Alto city council members approved last night during closed session an agreement allowing the public works director to retire.

Glenn Roberts will leave at the end of the year, and will receive six months of severance pay according to Mayor Pat Burt.


No reason has been given for Roberts’ departure, but a statement from the city and terms of the retirement are scheduled to be released today.
