Former Amador County Administrative Officer Terri Daly has been selected as El Dorado County’s new Chief Administrative Officer. Daly’s post as CAO begins December 14 following approval of her contract.

The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors announced their selection of a new Chief Administrative Officer in a statement Monday.

Terri Daly has been the county’s Assistant Chief Administrative Officer since July 2010 and will begin as CAO on Dec. 14, following formal approval of her contract.


“We are fortunate that Terri already has a proven track record of success as a county executive,” said Supervisor Norma Santiago in the statement. “Terri’s experience and get-it-done approach will serve the county well.”
