On Sunday, the nation marked the ten-year anniversary of September 11th. At ceremonies large and small, we paused to remember the thousands who lost their lives as our nation lost its innocence.
Across California, cities and communities gathered to commemorate a decade of healing and mourning.
Those ceremonies took every shape of every size. However, nothing will ever be as iconic as those buildings, now standing as memories and emblems of America’s determination to never relent to cowardice, terror, or fear.
With reverence, we remember and reflect.
