While Lamont, California may not be listed among the 482 incorporated cities in California, but its 15,000 residents need experienced, talented individuals to deliver services such as drinking and wastewater treatment.

The Lamont Public Utility District is seeking a results oriented and dedicated public agency manager to lead this water and wastewater agency. As a special district, LPUD is governed by a five member board elected by district, to serve four year terms. The Board appointed General Manager is expected to possess the highest ethical standard, prepare a proposed annual budget, make policy recommendations for Board consideration, manage the business functions of the District and supervise the day to day operations of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have increasingly responsible utility operation experience and a minimum of five years of applicable experience. HS graduation is required, a BA degree is preferred; Class C CDL and Grade II Water Distribution Operator Cert and Grade III Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Cert required, Grade V Preferred.

The salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
