A male escort website turned out to be the downfall of Medford, New Jersey.
Mayor Chris Myers, or his doppleganger, was seen in a photo wearing only unmentionables. The apparent photographer, the escort, was promised $500 in cash as well as other gifts in exchange for sex at a California hotel.
Despite his claims of innocence, Mayor Myers resigned after two months of controversy.

A married New Jersey mayor has resigned his post two months after someone claiming to be a prostitute said on a website he had sex with the mayor at a California hotel.
Chris Myers resigned Monday from the top spot in the government of Medford, a town of 23,000 residents near Philadelphia.
The anonymous allegation against Myers included a photo of a man who appeared to be him in his underwear.
