The City of San Diego is recognizing an organization with a long history of success in promoting Hispanic businesses in California since 1978. The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CAHCC) represents over 700,000 Hispanic business owners in the state while being the largest business organization to promote Hispanic entrepreneurs and emerging businesses.

San Diego Councilmember Marti Emerald presented the proclamation which announces August 16th as California Chambers of Commerce Day, and extends the highest commendations of the public.

The CAHCC will hold its 33rd Annual State Convention in San Diego from August 15-17. According to Councilmember Emerald’s proclamation, the Convention offers its participants the opportunity to learn the latest trends in business development, network with outstanding business professionals, and gain insights into growing and maintaining a successful business.

This is a great opportunity for the city and public to highlight the positive impact and success the CAHCC has had on the Hispanic business community.
