On June 24 – 26, a team consisting of senior management from the City’s Environmental Services and Public Works, as well as the Santa Clara Valley Water District and San José Water Company, will be participating in the Institute for Sustainable Communities’ Climate Leadership Academy on Adaptive Water Resource Management & Infrastructure. The workshop held in Philadelphia, PA will be a unique, peer-learning workshop bringing together 10 cross-sector, inter-jurisdictional teams from across the country to learn and strategize on how to improve and accelerate management of local impacts from climate change. This workshop specifically focuses on water and wastewater infrastructure. Teams will return from the workshop with strategies to manage local climate change priorities.
