Climatec logoThe League of California Cities (LoCC)’s 482 member cities receive ongoing enrichment through League member benefits, like local driven advocacy, leadership opportunities, statewide networking and top-tier education straight from the frontlines of their peers in other cities and partners in the private and non-profit sectors.

A testament to its dedication to advancing California cities, Climatec, an energy and building technologies solutions provider, has renewed its premium platinum partnership with the League in 2020. This is Climatec’s fifth year as a Platinum League Partner.

“Climatec’s continued collaboration is instrumental to the value we offer our members,” remarked League Sponsorship & Corporate Development Manager Mike Egan. “Like the League, Climatec sets out to advance local control through its work of providing solutions to cities seeking financial relief and to make a positive societal impact. We are grateful for backing from Climatec and other dedicated partners in advancing our mission of expanding and protecting city priorities.”

City officials, staff, council members and partners make up the League’s membership, coming together to share best practices and lessons learned at regional board meetings and annual conferences each year. In February, Climatec sent seven representatives to the League City Managers’ Conference in Napa. In October, six more Climatec associates will travel to Long Beach for the Annual Conference & Expo.

The League Partner program, through which Climatec established its partnership in 2015, offers an opportunity for the team to discuss important issues with decision-makers across the local, private and non-profit sectors. It’s the relationships Climatec has forged in recent years that has made it a happy repeat partner.

“Climatec’s partnership with the League is a natural fit,” Climatec’s Director of Public Sector Ashley Cascio commented. “We both understand the value of connecting decision-makers with the right resources so they can make progress in their cities. From working through a post-COVID-19 world to educating newly electeds and guiding policy in Sacramento, the League is essential to supporting its member cities. We are a proud returning partner.”
