Climatec logoClimatec recently cast its search for a new inside sales representative for its Southern California Energy Services division following record success of helping cities and school districts reap millions in utility and energy savings.

“Our new candidate will help spread the message that, even after COVID-19, financial support and security is available to our public sector friends,” said Ashley Cascio, public sector director.

Climatec has contributed to successful projects with the likes of Rowland Unified School District (USD), Corona-Norco USD, Covina Valley USD, the City of Duarte, the City of Fountain Valley and the City of Bell. The initiatives undertaken by these and other agencies benefiting from Climatec’s model are funded through state grants, utility grants, private sector funding and local utility incentives. In all cases, savings from deferred maintenance and reduced energy expenditure far surpass the cost of projects. Beverly Hills will save $8 million after a  $3.2 million-update that entailed everything from upgraded LED lighting and HVAC units to building automation systems and smart irrigation controls to carbon dioxide monitoring systems and battery storage. In Rowland Heights, the District will save $14 million with its investment of $11.6 million in its comprehensive energy infrastructure upgrade which also included adding air conditioning to its gyms & multipurpose facilities.

“What excites me about work at Climatec is that we develop creative funding solutions that remove the barrier inherent to the complex budget challenges cities have always faced and will especially face now,” continued Cascio. “As the opportunity arises to help more agencies find their ideal solutions, I look forward to bringing on a strong candidate that takes pride in supporting this effort and appreciates our culture of compassion and curiosity for the sake of improving communities.”

Climatec’s mission is to be customers’ first-choice in energy & water solutions by focusing on operational excellence, world-class service, technology innovation and investing in employees whose expertise and professionalism is second to none.
