The City of Calabasas has named Don Penman as interim City Manager, replacing Ray Taylor who had previously agreed to fill the interim role until mid-November. Penman will serve as the search continues for a full-time City Manager.
Penman, a resident of Northridge, has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from USC. After retiring as City Manager of the City of Arcadia in 2012, he has served as interim City Manager in the cities of San Fernando, Temple City, Azusa (twice), Covina, and Ventura.
“We are excited to welcome Mr. Penman to Calabasas,” said Mayor Alicia Weintraub, “and thank Ray Taylor for his outstanding service during this time of transition.”
