Torrance City Treasurer Tim Goodrich is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jasmine Allen as the new Deputy City Treasurer.
Allen brings more than 20 years of experience from both the private and public service sectors. Most recently, Allen served as the Deputy City Treasurer II for the City of El Segundo. There, she was involved in managing government investments, municipal treasury funds, strategic planning, financial analysis, budget and fiscal operations and streamlining processes. Her vast knowledge of federal, state, and local policies that govern public agency’s cash management, banking and investment activities will be a great asset to the City of Torrance.
Allen earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. She said, “It is an absolute honor to have the opportunity to serve the City of Torrance. I am thrilled to join Team Torrance and the leadership behind this full-service City.”
City Treasurer Goodrich said, “After having this position vacant for 4 years, I’m thrilled to fill the role with someone as qualified as Jasmine. She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and leadership skills to the City of Torrance. I’m looking forward to working with her to continue making progress in the City Treasurer’s Office.”
