Menifee’s street projects and construction updates are getting an upgrade! The City of Menifee Geographic Information System (GIS) team in collaboration with the Public Works Department has developed an interactive online map that provides an easy-to-read, visual representation of construction projects, road closures, and other traffic-related activities.
The Street Projects and Construction Updates Map, located on the City of Menifee website, features a dropdown display of active projects and updates which are also represented by icons on the map. Users can scroll either through the project list or manipulate the map to see where projects are occurring throughout the city. A list of current projects in PDF format will also remain available on the website. The map will be updated regularly but may not reflect the latest traffic conditions, unplanned maintenance work, or emergency road closures.
“The City of Menifee remains focused on integrating new technology to enhance the services that we provide to our community,” said City Manager Armando G. Villa. “This new digital map developed by our City staff will help provide a clear picture of where construction activity and road impacts are taking place citywide.”
The Street Projects and Construction Updates Map is available for viewing at www.cityofmenifee.us/traffic. The map will soon be incorporated into the City of Menifee app, available for download on both the Apple and Google Play stores.
