City of Eastvale logoThe City of Eastvale previously launched its “Love Eastvale, Shop Eastvale” Campaign in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic to encourage residents to support local businesses. However, the successful campaign took a hiatus as the pandemic receded. This year, the City of Eastvale relaunched the campaign to generate additional enthusiasm and encourage residents to shop locally.

To incentivize residents and consumers to support this campaign, the City encouraged residents to partake in a few activities to win gift bags and automatic entry into an opportunity drawing for $20 gift cards. Residents must first take a picture with a small business and share it on social media. Additionally, residents must follow one of the City’s social media accounts and subscribe to the City’s newsletter. Participants must also spend a minimum of $50.00 in Eastvale and share these receipts in order to be eligible for a prize and entry into the opportunity drawing.

City staff are optimistic that the campaign will inform the community about the important role that shopping locally plays in creating jobs and supporting the local workforce while also reducing sales tax leakages within the City!
