The City Council and city manager have agreed to a mutually acceptable employment separation for City Manager Matt West effective October 27, 2023 at 5:00PM.

Mr. West was appointed as city manager unanimously by the City Council on April 16, 2019 and began his service to the City of Tustin in 2001. Among many achievements, Mr. West was instrumental in the City’s planning and development  efforts related to  former MCAS Tustin, now known as Tustin Legacy. Over the course of his four and a half years as city manager, Mr. West worked to align City operations with the available resources and best practices of government operations. Mr. West led an exceptional and dedicated group of Department Directors and City staff during the City’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
