The City of Fountain Valley engaged the Tripepi Smith team to capture key moments in the development of its new universally accessible playground. This state-of-the art project, built in partnership with Unlimited Play, is designed to ensure all children, regardless of ability, have a place to play.
The Tripepi Smith team captured the progress of this project from beginning to end: from the groundbreaking ceremony, to a time lapse of the 10-month construction process, to the ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked the park’s official opening.
“Seeing the project progress through our lens was truly fulfilling,” said Business Analyst Kylie Sun. “It was abundantly clear that the Fountain Valley community was unified by their excitement about the playground and their commitment to accessibility. It was a joy to see the City’s new community space come to life!”
Director Cameron Grimm and Kylie managed the creative vision of the video, ensuring that logistical elements came together and that the final product aligned with the City’s vision. Junior Videographer Ethan De La Peña captured footage at the groundbreaking and managed the timelapse camera, Junior Videographer Christina Haverilla captured key interviews and footage at the ribbon-cutting ceremony and Videographer Jeremy Camp edited the video. Additionally, Junior Business Analyst Kendall Lowery conducted the interviews with stakeholders at the City of Fountain Valley and Universal Play that came together in the final project recap video.
“The Tripepi Smith team perfectly captured the excitement sparked by our new universally accessible playground,” said Fountain Valley Community Services Director Rob Frizzelle. “From groundbreaking to ribbon-cutting, they worked seamlessly to document each construction milestone. The final recap video reflects the spirit of our community and the impact of this new resource.”
Fountain Valley’s universally accessible playground demonstrates the City’s commitment to inclusivity and community-building. Check out the recap video to learn more about the project and to see how it all came together.
