Ahead of the Fourth of July, the Suisun City Fire Department partnered with Tripepi Smith to produce a video series focused on fireworks safety. With increasing concern around illegal fireworks and public safety, the Suisun City Fire Department (SCFD) aimed to proactively educate residents on local laws and safe celebration practices.
“Educating Suisun City residents on how to practice safe fireworks use and abide by local regulations is part of our duty to protect and serve the community,” said Fire Marshal Jose Colin. “Knowing Tripepi Smith’s track record with creating engaging, accessible video content, we trusted their team to help us deliver this critical message.”
The three-minute video, broken into three segments, was led by Tripepi Smith Business Analyst Morgan Teruel with oversight from Senior Business Analyst Melanie Moore and support from Junior Business Analyst Mia Valenzuela. Junior Videographer Audrin Baghaie brought the concept to life in collaboration with SCFD staff.
“We’re proud to support Suisun City Fire Department’s commitment to public safety education,” said Morgan. “Their proactive approach to informing residents reflects the City’s broader dedication to meaningful community engagement.”
The full video was published on the City’s YouTube channel, while shorter segments were shared across the City and SCFD’s social media channels. The video also ran as a paid advertisement in the days leading up to the Fourth of July to maximize reach and visibility.
