The City of Rio Vista seeks an enthusiastic leader with experience in large scale development and strategic planning to fill the new position of Community Development Director. This role on the executive team will provide a unique opportunity to directly influence the City’s sense of place, growth, sustainability, and quality of life.

The Community Development Director will have experience negotiating large-scale development agreements and navigating complex challenges. Under administrative direction, the Community Development Director will oversee all functions and operations of the Community Development Department including planning, building inspection and compliance, code enforcement, and economic development.
