The field manager’s role is to represent the Council Member to the residents of Irvine and to promptly and effectively identify and address constituents’ concerns, needs and requests. This person is often the first impression of the Council Member. The field manager performs on-the-ground constituent casework, problem-solves creatively, represents the Council Member in neighborhoods, at neighborhood and community meetings and events, works and collaborates with city departments and manages projects.
