SBCOG is seeking an Executive Director who has strong knowledge in transportation planning and engineering and is an effective communicator and business leader with a “get things done” mentality. The Executive Director will build trusted relationships with elected officials, staff, contractors, constituents, and regional, state, and federal partners and lead a team of six while managing an approximate operational budget of $3.9 million, transit budget of $2.9 million, sales tax measure of $11.4 million, and possibly other programs and fees. The successful candidate will be creative and innovative in finding ways to communicate effectively with constituents and stakeholders and be an excellent project manager who oversees transportation infrastructure projects and ensures they stay on time and on budget.
