Sometimes, the discounted temptations of Walmart can be too much – even for elected officials.
The Garland City, Ark. Mayor, Yvonne Dockery, was arrested on charges that she stole city checks. Dockery then went on a shopping spree, attempting to spend more than $600 at Walmart with the checks. (Video here)
It’s not the first time something shady has surfaced in Garland City.
According to an Associated Press report, the FBI and Arkansas police investigated Dockery and other city officials for embezzlement allegations.
