Joan Phillipe, in a mutual decision with the city and herself, will be leaving the position of Colfax City Manager. The two sides agreed to end negotiations to extend her contract. Phillipe was hired in September 2006
Bruce Kranz will be named the Interim City Manager. Kranz is a former Placer County Supervisor.
The City of Colfax has yet to make any type of official announcement.
