Prop 1A Securitization Program – Two Weeks Left

There are only two weeks left before Prop 1A securitization program documents must be returned to California Communities. The deadline is November 6, 2009.

All documents must be returned fully completed and unaltered. Documents that have been altered or changed will not be accepted and will result in your districts’ inability to participate in the Prop 1A securitization program.

Approximately 50 percent of the executed documents submitted to date have contained errors. Therefore, CSDA encourages special districts to return their Prop 1A documents early so that if there are any mistakes they can be corrected before the November 6 deadline.

A set of sample executed documents which show how properly executed documents should appear is now available on California Communities’ Prop 1A website: www.cacommunities.org/prop1a.
