As of October 8, a total of 1025 local agencies have enrolled in the Prop 1A securitization program offered by California Communities.

Of those local agencies, 639 special districts have enrolled. The full list can be viewed here.

It is imperative that all special districts know their options when the state shifts property tax revenues this fiscal year. All final documents must be received by November 6, 2009, in order to qualify to participate in the Prop 1A securitization program.

Time is running out and we need your help! Districts in your region may not be aware of their option to participate in the securitization program and that there is no cost to participate.

Please talk to other districts in your region and make sure they know about the Prop 1A securitization program.
