San Diego County residents may be receiving a postcard from the Registrar of Voters in the next few days. The postcards was sent to registered voters Wednesday and have information about how to become a permanent vote-by-mail voter.

“For many people, voting by mail is more convenient. The ballot is delivered to them at home, and they can either mail it back when they’re done or drop it off at our office or a polling location,” said Deborah Seiler, County of San Diego Registrar of Voters.

If you would like to permanently vote by mail, just follow the instructions on the postcard and send back the perforated section.

For a resident to check his or her voter registration status or to get more information about voting, they can visit www.sdvote.com.
