It didn’t take long for justice to find Albert Cipoletti, the man who pleaded guilty to stealing $17 million from Sacramento County.

A New York man who ran a Long Island payroll company pleaded guilty this morning to stealing $20 million from clients — including $17 million from Sacramento County.


Albert J. Cipoletti, 61, pled guilty to one count of wire fraud in U.S. District Court in Sacramento. Cipoletti was the chief executive officer of Ingentra HR Services, a Hauppauge, N.Y., company the county hired in late 2004 to process payroll for the myriad special districts in the area.
