Ten city employees were recognized on August 7th by the City Council of Santa Barbara for their years of dedicated public service.

The city of Santa Barbara has what they call their City Employees’ Recognition Program which has recognized the length of their employee’s public service to the city since 1980. Marcelo López, Assistant City Administrator, submitted this staff report that recognizes employees with service award pins for every five years of service. Those employees achieving 25 years of service or more are eligible to receive their pins in front of the City Council. Attached is a list of the employees who will be awarded pins for their service through August 31, 2012.
