With a $445 million FY 2012-2013 budget and approximately 1,331 staff, Napa County provides services to approximately 139,000 residents in an area that is internationally known for its fine wines, exciting restaurants, and world-class resorts. Key functional areas of responsibility include managing the preparation and administration of the County’s annual budget, long-range fiscal planning, facilities planning, and oversight of assigned systems, functional areas, and divisions.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a multi-disciplinary track record of achievement and “big picture” strategic planning skills. Additionally, the Assistant County Executive Officer will have unquestionable personal integrity and display honesty and approachability in his/her commitment to work in an organization that continually strives for organizational excellence.
