Voice of San Diego’s Liam Dillon makes a guest appearance on this week’s podcast to talk with Mike Wagers, the chief operating officer with the Seattle police, about what prompted that bold move and how being so open has effected officers.
On the flip-side of the transparency scale, of course, is District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis, who announced this week that her office would not be pressing charges in a recent officer-involved shooting. Though Dumanis said that surveillance footage shows the shooting was justified, her office still said it won’t release the footage.
Also this week, hosts Scott Lewis and Andrew Keatts talk about how the end is near for SeaWorld’s theatrical Shamu shows, they dish on how Disney chairman and CEO Bob Igers will oversee the development of a stadium for the Chargers and the Raiders in Carson and Keatts learned just how deeply people love breakfast burritos.
