Tripepi Smith Principal Jon Barilone will present a keynote address at the City Clerks Association of California (CCAC) Annual Conference on April 13 from 1:30 PM to 3 PM. The conference will be hosted in Palm Springs from April 11-14, 2023.
After learning about Tripepi Smith’s recruitment division, TS Talent Solutions, CCAC called on Jon to lead the session, “Leading a Passionate and Successful Team Through Communication.” He will cover the fundamentals of building workplace culture and positioning clerks as communication leaders. Jon will also expand on the five steps to forming a successful team:
- Define your vision, mission and values
- Define desired behaviors
- Curate your culture by attracting the right talent
- Keep and grow talent by cultivating your culture
- Build “culture warriors”
“Communication is key to creating a strong culture and City Clerks play a vital role in ensuring effective communication is happening between elected officials, staff and residents,” said Jon. “I look forward to sharing my insights on how to cultivate and sustain successful teams using the key factors of communication.”
