Erickson-Hall Construction Co. has officially started construction on the America’s Finest Charter School for the San Diego Unified School District. The company was selected for this project, based on their exceptional qualifications and extensive experience in the construction of educational facilities, including others within the San Diego Unified School District.
Throughout this project, Erickson-Hall will be providing Lease-Leaseback services to San Diego Unified School District for America’s Finest Charter School. This $32 million project will be completed in 3 Increments and 4 Phases:
- Increment 1 – Phase 1 includes ground-up construction of a new structure, a 25,793 SF two-story Elementary School Building.
- Increment 2 – Phase 2 includes renovating the existing wood frame of a 9,865 SF Middle School Building, including exterior and interior structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and site work renovations, along with a kindergarten playground.
- Increment 3 – Phase 3 includes the removal of 10 existing Portables and the building of all new upper-level play areas. Increment 3 – Phase 4 includes ground-up construction of a new masonry structure, a 7,598 SF Multi-Purpose Building with a new kitchen, parking lot and turf field, along with associated site work, ornamental fencing and hardscape.
