Do you have a work environment where negativity spreads faster than wildfire? You’re not alone. Many HR managers and organization leaders today struggle with fostering a positive, collaborative culture.

What if you could flip the script?

You can create a workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent, boosts employee engagement and productivity, and drives innovation.

A growing body of research indicates that companies with kindness baked into their culture are more productive and profitable. A kindness revolution is quietly underway at some of the world’s largest companies

Kinder managers make happier employees. Companies that improve culture, including developing kinder leaders, found that their:

  • Revenues increased four times faster
  • Job creation rates grew seven times higher
  • Stock prices increased 12 times faster
  • Profits climbed 750% higher
  • New revenue grew 700%
  • Customer satisfaction doubled

In 2012, Gallup researchers studied 49,928 work units, including nearly 1.4 million employees, to quantify the effects of engaged employees and strong culture. Top work groups outperformed bottom units by 10% on customer ratings, 22% in profitability, and 21% in productivity.

We have found a two-pronged approach is most effective.

Step one is motivational training, either in seminars or large group presentations. These are best delivered live. One of the most popular presentations is “Turning Managers and Supervisors into Positivity Superstars.” This is a skills-based training program. It is designed to help managers and leaders integrate micro-actions of kindness into their leadership styles. They will understand the impact of positivity and develop habits that push kindness to their direct reports and create a culture of attraction. Participants develop four management skills to stop negativity and reduce resignations. Leaders will get a mindset adjustment on the essential importance of leading by example and demonstrating positivity through kindness. They will understand the connection between their personal practices and the company culture. They learn their vital role in the retention and attraction of great people. They will leave with easily implemented tools to become positivity superstars who deliver big results.

Step two is a series of Zoom cohort meetings over several months that reinforce the initial training. We all know change takes practice. One trip to the gym doesn’t turn us into athletes. Cohorts provide the time, group support, and organizational commitment to facilitate real change.
