The challenging implementation of the Surplus Land Act (SLA) continues to be a priority issue for many agencies and the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) is committed to advocating to help improve the process.
CALED submitted their comments regarding the current Proposed SLA Guidelines, and encourages all local leaders to do the same. CALED hopes you can join the effort and send your feedback to HCD by March 25. Please be sure to share your letter with your assemblymember and senator. It is critical that the Legislature see that this continues to be an issue that needs their attention.
