The City of Palmdale, in collaboration with the Public Safety department and the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, invites residents to participate in an informative Public Safety Forum on Wednesday, April 10 from 6-8 p.m. at Legacy Commons for Active Seniors, located at 930 E. Ave. Q-9. The event is designed to provide residents with information and tools to enhance safety throughout the community.
“The City of Palmdale is committed to crime prevention and community education,” said Mayor Austin Bishop. “That’s why we are hosting this forum – we want residents to know what the City is doing to help keep them safe. I encourage residents to attend to hear about graffiti abatement, crime trends and narcotics awareness and how they impact our community.”
This event is for residents aged 15 and older, and students are encouraged to attend and can earn community service hours by participating. Participants will gain insights into current Public Safety programs, share concerns regarding crime in the region and collaborate on ideas for fostering a community-oriented approach to address these critical issues.
In addition to the engaging discussions, attendees can anticipate exciting prizes and giveaways. Every participant will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Ring security camera.
