We are delighted to report that another CalCCA Annual Conference is officially in the books! The association’s members, affiliates, partners, policymakers, and many others from the energy field converged in downtown San Jose April 16-18 for an action-packed event that included myriad opportunities to network with peers, exchange insights on a range of mission-critical topics, and gain fresh perspectives on CCA focus areas and California’s energy future.
With record-breaking attendance of over 750 participants, including more than 60 speakers, the conference exceeded expectations both in terms of participation and outstanding content. Event highlights included:
- Inspiring addressses by Steve Eglash of SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, California Energy Commission Chair David Hochschild, and Mary Anne Piette from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
- Recognition of nine outstanding CCA programs at the Community Impact Awards ceremony
- Many riveting workshops and sessions including an interactive IRP Game
We truly appreciate the positive energy and collaborative spirit that everyone brought to the event, perfectly demonstrating what “Energizing Innovation,” the theme of the 2024 conference, truly means.
