The City of Palmdale is excited to invite residents and community members to its annual State of the City event, a celebration of the City’s achievements and a look toward an exciting and innovative future. This year’s theme, “Palmdale Forward,” encapsulates the City’s commitment to progress and growth.
“This year’s State of the City will showcase the incredible strides we’ve made as a community,” said Mayor Austin Bishop. “We are moving Palmdale forward, and this event is a celebration of that journey.”
The State of the City will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at the Palmdale Playhouse, located at 38334 10th St. E. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m., with the presentation beginning at 3:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to walk the blue carpet and capture memorable photos, enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, and network with City dignitaries, staff, community stakeholders and local businesses. Guests will immerse themselves in an inspiring showcase of Palmdale’s progress and future plans.
“Our program will delve into key developments in infrastructure, economic growth, community services and so much more,” said Mayor Pro Tem Richard J. Loa. “Residents will gain valuable insights into our vision for the future and the detailed plans we’re working on to enhance the quality of life for everyone in Palmdale.”
