The City of Red Bluff has a new police chief. Chief Kyle Sanders retired effective Thursday. Sanders worked at the department for 28 years.
Red Bluff Police Captain Quintan Ortega has been promoted as the new chief. Ortega’s first official day was Thursday. Ortega has also been at the Red Bluff Police Department for 28 years.
The department also celebrated two other promotions. Ruben Murgia was promoted from lieutenant to captain. Michael Brown was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant.
